I’m ready to go where do I start? Often your sponsor or upline will give you the age old response build a list and let’s start calling people on the list. Those that are interested will come to a meeting somewhere and we will get them started in the same manner.
Times have changed and even though that’s the way I started in the industry that’s not what I teach today. Things have changed. Th eindustry has changed technology has changed and frankly I have changed.
I don’t want to pester family and friends. I don’t want to face rejection. I don’t even want to attend a hotel meeting or for that matter any kind of meeting unless it is somewhere I want to go and I can write the entire trip off with my wife if I attend.
So how do we build the business of the future without doing all the things our upline and sponsor tells us? How do we get started?
Simple. Before you invest time effort and energy into the marketing of your business invest in the marketing of yourself. Simply put people join people not companies.
Yes people are passionate about products and they get excited about other business aspects but people really join people when it is all said and done. So wouldn’t it make sense to market yourself first. Build your image and people will respond and seek you when they are ready to start. This is the easiest way to build your business and takes the issues your upline teaches out tof the equation.
