To build a successful MLM business you need people. You need leads lots of them. There are many ways to generate leads for your MLM business either through a thirdparty source or by yourself. This article will explain why you should not buy MLM leads from other sources.
1. Leads are usually outdated. Some companies sell you leads that they generated few years ago. These people could have moved house or changed their contact numbers. These people could have expressed interest in doing MLM years ago but they might not be now. Companies are able to supply you with thousands amp; thousands of leads because they simply recycle and use leads from different sources. So what you get are usually leads that are not keen in your business or simply contacts that are no longer in existence.
2. Leads are not exclusive. It is highly possible that these leads have been sold to someone else before you. Look it would be silly if I simply sell the leads to only you right? Why not make more money selling these leads to more people who are silly enough to buy them? Although such companies do provide leads that are ‘fresh’ these leads do not belong ENTIRELY to you. Someone else could have called your leads before you and presented their opportunities to them. Even if these leads are exclusive imagine the price that you need to pay to acquire such leads.

3. Leads don’t know you. Even if we buy leads that are ‘fresh’ responsive and exclusive you might not be able to present your opportunity because they don’t know you! Why would they join your business when they can join their friends amp; family members who they trust and believe in? Who are you to make a difference in their lives? your business? Are you rich yourself? And most often than not these people gave away their contacts for some ‘rewards’ and are probably least interested in your business!
4. You don’t know how these leads were generated. The contacts could be obtained from thirdparty sources who sold them without permission. In worse scenarios you can be accused of spamming! And yes they are not going to tell you how they collect the data because it is their ‘trade secret’!
The biggest clue of it all is that if you are paying dirtcheap for a lot of leads in the thousands it is probably too good to be true! It makes perfect economic sense that getting good responsive and exclusive leads don’t come cheap. Rather than paying for worthless leads that don’t usually come cheap why not generate your own leads? You know that these leads are
real and that they have expressed genuine interest in your business. And you know that they are exclusively yours because you generated them yourself!
