Network Marketing Success: Avoiding Information Overload
Network Marketing Success: Avoiding Information Overload
No doubt you’ve seen plenty of offers from people who claim they have the key to network marketing success. They may claim they have “the best way to generate prospects” or “secrets to growing a massive downline in no time at all” and many many others. There is a wealth of information onlinesome free and some noton how to build a successful network marketing business. The problem with so much information is that it is easy to get bogged down with “information overload” and feel so overwhelmed by everything that has to be done that you do nothing at all! Follow these tips to help you focus your attention and avoid having information overload keep you from network marketing success.
Evaluate the Quality of the “Lists” You are On. Every time you optin to receive some free information you automatically enroll on a “list.” You are giving permission for the author to contact you with other offers and information. There is nothing wrong with being on somebody’s listin fact you can learn a lot from itbut it is important to evaluate the value you receive from the emails they send you.
When you have 105 new emails from lists you have subscirbed to it is easy to feel overwhelmed. Chances are there are some lists you could optout of and you wouldn’t be missing out on anything. If the person sending you the emails is constantly trying to get you to buy something without providing information that has value to you simply unsubscribe. By choosing wisely which emails you receive you save yourself not only the time you would waste reading lousy emails that constantly pitch a product or opportunity you put yourself in control of the information you receive. And that means less “information overload!
Choose to Focus on One Thing at a Time. There are so many different ways you can choose to focus on to grow your network marketing business especially if you are marketing online. But it is important to choose one area to focus on and master that before moving on to the next. If you are trying to learn blogging strategies PPC advertising article marketing and everything else out there all at the same time you are setting yourself up for information overload and not setting yourself up for network marketing success.
Instead choose one focus and stick with it until you have it mastered. Then you can move on to the next step and incorporate another marketing strategy into your business. For instance if you want to market through blogging learn all you can about blogging. Seek out the best information available on blogging both from other network marketers and people outside the industry and learn how to implement it in your business. When you’ve got that down you can move on to the next strategy and do the same thing. You will find that you will do much better if you learn to do one thing really well rather than being mediocre at several things.
Be Willing to Pay for Good Information. I’m sure you receive offers for information all the timeI know I do. So how do you know what’s worth paying for and what’s not? By the value offered in the free information the author offers. Before you get sucked in by good copyrighting and pay 10000 for a course check out the free information that the author promotes. If it has valuable information chances are the information they sell is worth buying.
But why pay for information when there is so much available for free? I think the biggest reason is that it will save you the time of sorting out the good from the bad and the mistakes you will surely make using your own trialanderror methods. Instead of wasting time finding out what works using free information find several people that you can trust to consistently deliver good solid valuable information and pay them for their expertise. You’ll avoid information overload and be much more likely to achieve success in your network marketing business.

Network Marketing Success–3 Traps To Avoid When Marketing Online
Network Marketing Success–3 Traps To Avoid When Marketing Online
We all know the internet has revolutionized the way Network Marketers do business. Not onlycan you avoid the shame and embarrassment of pestering family and friends when you market online you can save yourself time as well. Butif you’re marketing your Network Marketing business onlineor thinking about itbe sure to avoid these traps that will keep you from achieving the level of success you desire.
Trap 1: Wasting Time on the Internet
Surfing the internetrather thanusing it for a purpose can be a temptationevery time you sit down at your computer. It’s important to be disciplined about what you are going to do when you get on the internet. If you spend time looking at every story and article clicking on all the ads and never actually marketing your Network Marketing business you’re not going to get very far.
Solution: Set limits for yourself. Give yourself a set amount of time10 or 15 minutes perhapsto do whatever you want. Check the weather read the latest gossip about Brangelina and get to work when your time limit is up.
Trap 2: Checking Your Email Excessively
You want to be accessible to your downline and your prospects so you check your email regularly. And that’s a good thing! But spending too much time checking and responding to email can interrupt tasks you are trying to complete and keep you from getting to tasks you should complete.
Solution: Again set limits for yourself. Turn off the “ding” that notifies you when you receive a new email. Set some time aside in your schedule a couple of times a day to read and respond to email.
Your downline will be more respectful of your time if you’re accessible but not always available. And responding to prospects within seconds or minutes just comes across as desperate if you ask me.
Trap 3: Trying to Learn Everything at Once
There is so much to learn when it comes to Internet Network Marketing. Many Network Marketers try to do it all at onceblogging payperclick forum marketing…the list goes on. The result is they never become an expert in anything and get dismal results at everything.
Solution: While there’s absolutely nothing wrong with using more than one method of marketing you should focus your attention on becoming an expert in one area. Then once you feel you’ve mastered it you can move on to the next method and master that as well.
Network Marketers who master a method of marketing before trying something different achieve better results…and they’re a lot less frustrated and burned out as a result!

Network Marketing Strategies-duplicatable Systems Are Required For MLM Success
Network Marketing Strategies-duplicatable Systems Are Required For MLM Success
Network marketing strategies vary but the best require a duplicatable system to use.People building a network marketing income often analyze products and they analyze companies they might join but they don’t really ask what is maybe the most important question: Does my sponsor have a tested proven system that I can plug into to build my business? You need to talk to the person recruiting you and find out exactly what they are doing stepbystep to build their business. If they’ve just started that is OK. But what is THEIR sponsor doing? You need a proven system you can just plug into.
If there is no successful system in place then go somewhere else because that means you will have to develop your own reliable leadgeneration system. Which makes your chance of success very very small. When you analyze a system one important aspect is … does it make sense? A good system has to feed you leads of people who are real actual targeted prospects for your business. There are plenty of systems around most of them who will give you contact information of lots of people who have no interest whatsoever in your offer. You’re sure to fail in your own business of ANY kind if you have to become a salesperson. You want a lead generation system that gives you real warriors people who are determined to succeed in network marketing but who haven’t gotten there yet. That is the kind of people who will really build your business.
The people who will build your business and network marketing income are the people with big dreams. If you just show them a simple doable way to get what they want in life and if they believe that it’s something they can do and that you can help them you will get a steady stream of people in your business. About the only thing that can sabotage your business at that point is … greed and ego. For longterm success you have to create a good relationship with your people and vice versa.
That relationship can be easily destroyed by displays of greed or ego or both. The income is certainly important to everybody. And the way you build the income in network marketing is a lot of people each do a little bit. Recognize that all those people also want income and they want recognition. You will be much closer to reaching your own income goals and income stability by focusing on helping the others in your group achieve their own dreams. Get rid of greed and/or ego anytime you see them start to develop.
A lot of people in MLM get mesmerized by the few who make the really big money. Some heavy hitters make 6 figure or even 7 figure incomes a month. In the ebook “Success In 10 Steps” Michael Dlouhy reveals how those guys really look at you! It’s pretty interesting. You’ll learn some important principles in how to choose a company and a sponsor that give you the best opportunity to build a stable business that will be profitable for a long time. In real estate they say you make your money on the front end by buying it right. Same is true in an MLM business. When you start from behind the 8ball you just don’t have a chance for success. You’ll find a lot of value in the ideas in this book.
